Contraceptive Services

All the doctors are happy to provide contraceptive services; our Practice Nurse will give repeat injections of Depo-Provera and repeat prescriptions for oral contraceptive pills. Emergency contraception can be provided by the practice, or you can visit your local pharmacy.

This service requires a referral by your GP

Smoking cessation clinic

Advice and help regarding Smoking Cessation can be obtained through our Practice Nurse. Please contact the surgery and make an appointment. You can attend this service without a referral.

Phlebotomy – Phlebotomy and ECG Clinic

The Practice now have a Phlebotomy/ECG clinic on a Monday and Friday morning – 08.30am to 12 noon, for routine blood tests and ECG testing. Please contact the practice for an appointment. You can attend this service without a referral.

Minor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) – provided in-house – Minor Surgery and Joint Injections

Minor surgical procedures and joint injections can be provided in the surgery for the convenience of patients. Please make an appointment with Dr Aldabbagh to arrange a suitable appointment. You can attend this service without a referral.

COPD clinic with spirometry – COPD

Our Practice Nurse is qualified to perform all COPD annual reviews and follow ups including a breathing test called Spirometry. To make an appointment contact the surgery. You can attend this service without a referral

Diabetes Clinic

Our Practice Nurse is specifically trained in the care of all diabetic patients. To make an appointment please contact the surgery. You can attend this service without a referral.

Childhood Immunisations

The Practice Nurse carries out children’s vaccinations as part of her routine clinics. Childhood Immunisation clinics run on a Wednesday Afternoon. You can attend this service without a referral

Cervical Screening

It is important for all women aged between 25 and 65 to have a cervical smear test every 3 years. Appointments can be made with our Practice Nurse. This will be a 20 minute appointment.

Asthma Clinic

The Practice Nurse offers specialised appointments for the care of patients suffering from this disease. Please contact the surgery to make an appointment for your asthma annual review or any help required. You can attend this service without a referral.
