Evening & Weekend Appointments

General practice is here for you for longer as routine appointments become available on evenings and weekends.

Our practice is working together with Stockport East & South PCN to offer patients evening and weekend appointments. The increase in access means more pre-bookable, routine appointments at evenings and weekends. Enhanced access appointments may include services like cervical screening, childhood vaccination clinics and health checks. Patients will be able to see a member of the general practice team, a GP, nurse or other health professional.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

Home visits

Home visits are reserved for patients who are housebound or too unwell to come to the Surgery.

The reception team will ask the reason for the visit and whether you are able to attend the surgery. Please do not be offended by this, as it is practice policy that the correct information is passed onto the doctor. You will also be asked if you consent to a doctor who may not be your regular GP to attend.

The doctor may ask you to attend the Surgery as we promote independence, or even offer you a telephone consultation.
